This technique was so popular I have shared it as my Artisan Tip and Technique
Because it was so popular I wanted to share another example using different Designer Series paper and Stamp set.
I chose the beautiful Awash in Beauty Papers as I had used them for a class and had so many strips left over. The Queen Bee Bundle was perfect to add and of course is a favourite of mine.
So for step 1 in 3 Ways To use Your Scrap Papers with 1 Technique Option 2 ,gather your strips.
Even though mine are even they do not need to be. Place Tear & Tape along the back of each strip.
Place your Window Sheet on Grid Paper to aid in getting each one straight and adhere.
Once you have adhered the strips first cut 1/2″ of the right side of the Window Sheet that has the uneven lengths. Set aside. Next cut a 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ piece and finally cut the remaining into 1/2″ strips.
These will form your 3 cards.
Cut 3 mats measuring 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ I have used Basic White on this occasion but any colour can be used. Next place Dimensionals under the strips and adhere this gives the illusion of the strips floating.
