This paper is so gorgeous and can be used in so many ways!
Vellum is such beautiful paper and there is so much you can do with it. Stampin’ Up!’s Vellum is very high quality and acid free.
It has a translucent and delicate look and is perfect for cardmaking or Scrapbooking.
In my live this week I share 5 Amazing Ideas with Vellum.
For this card I have used Isopropyl Alcohol and the Stampin Blends to colour the vellum before die cutting with the Gorgeous Garden Dies.
.
Alternatively you can leave the coloured piece of Vellum as the background. Using your favourite colours. I would recommend only selecting around 3 colours if possible as if you use too many they will merge together and form a brown instead of the colours you have chosen. The top layer in basic black is also from the Gorgeous Garden Dies
The next technique is White embossing images on the Vellum and colouring. When colouring do so on the back of the Vellum not on the side you have embossed. To colour these flowers I have used the Boho Blue and Lemon Lolly Markers. Adhered to some Basic White Cardstock before placing on top of the Gorgeous Gingham DSP.
This card has two techniques. The Vellum has been embossed first with an embossing folder which has the wonderful effect of making the patterns white. Plus using Vellum on top of coloured cardstock will soften that colour and give it a gorgeous delicate look.
