Love Love Love anything that glitters
This months Stampin’ Fancy Friday (Artisan Alumni) Theme is all about Sparkle and Shine. Something that I love to add when creating cards!
The Floral Charm Suite with its gorgeous patterned papers and floral imagery was perfect for my Sparkle & Shine Birthday Card. Pairing Gold Foil, Flower Accent gems and Wink of Stella to add those special touches.
To break up the beautiful papers I cut them into rectangles and matted with Crumb Cake, which is a great technique if you want to still keep the gorgeous papers as a feature but just to make them stand out that little bit more.
As you can see with this close up I have Gold embossed the sentiment to co-ordinate with the Gold Foil and added Wink of Stella to the flowers.
Colouring the flowers was kept at a minimum as I wanted to keep the focus all about the Shine and Sparkle.
