Last weekend I was very privileged to be asked to Spotlight the Needle Point Nook Suite from our soon to be released Occasions Catalogue at our Onstage Stampin’ Up! conference.
It is so stunning and I was so excited to be able to share it
As the name suggests this Suite was inspired by EMBROIDERY.
S U recognised that EMBROIDERY was becoming very popular again and wanted to bring this to stamping.
The actual designs were created in a design programme by the stamping up
These were then photographed and the designs and recoloured to match the SU colours, enabling a

This card I have made using the suite, it has a

So grateful for your beautiful inspirations! Heading to my craft table right now! Thank you for sharing.
absolute pleasure please enjoy, Happy crafting
I am so happy to have found you. I really enjoy your designs and now have a new love for this suite. Would you mind me asking how the Thank-you card was stamped? I guess the real question is, Do you have a way to figure out how to measure where to put the cardstock when you turn it around to get it to line up correctly. Or do you just do it by sight? The card I am speaking of is picture #5.
You have a talent for design!
Hi I am so sorry for delay but luckily I just checked spam …I will need to check settings I think! can I clarify which thank you card you are refering to ?? the white and blue with the strip of DSP in the middle and the pretty label punch for the sentiment?? …If so this the right card then You can make the white pieces as big or small as you like with a strip of DSP to fill the gap you choose, The white pieces are up on dimensionals to give that 3D illusion 🙂 I hope that helps if wrong card let me know and once again sorry for the delay, happy crafting.
Hi ! That’s a great card also. I thought maybe you used the stamparatus on the pink card -thank you-with floral DSP and old olive twine with bow to the side. If you used the stamparatus to get the stamping so nice. How was the stamparatus set up. Any tips?
Hi Sharon
No because the stamps are photopolymer I used my eye as you can position easily. I stamped the thank you first then I used the stitched stamp above and below 🙂 .The dotted line on the stitched stamp that forms the edge is actually exactly the length of the word so makes it easier!
The DSP measurement is 9cm x 13cm and the white square is 6cm x 7cm
I hope this helps…
hI Sharon just checking did you get my reply ok??
Yes, I did, thanks so much!
Thank you for the inspiration. How did you get the colored ink on the big impression die to show up in different areas on the card? Brilliant. I subscribed too.
I am so pleased you liked it….so so sorry for the delay in response the site has been putting all my emails in spam for some reason!
The colour or stitched look is hand done to give the impression it has been stitched, I just used the small nib on the colouring pens I hope that helps
