A Water Coloured Background with Forever Greenery the perfect Suite for this technique. In creating this card I discovered something amazing. Not every base colour looks the same when water coloured. The Pretty Peacock for example becomes a stunning blue when used as a water coloured background.
This Suite is truly one of my favourites and there are so many ways to create gorgeous projects. I have kept to different shades of green for this card. The first mat is Pretty Peacock and the smaller framing the Shimmer paper is Pear Pizzazz. This mat is smaller than my usual .5 as I wanted to just highlight with a small amount of colour. So it was a wonderful surprise when I water coloured with the Pretty Peacock and got a stunning Blue.
