This Beautiful Bloom stamp set can be used not only for birthdays but I recently used it for a sympathy card and was very happy with the effect.
I embossed the flower onto water colour paper and used Berry Burst and Old Olive to water colour the bloom, and Soft Sky for the background.
I absolutely love the effects that you can get with water colouring.
