This was a project for Artisan and I thought I would share one of my favourite backgrounds.
About three times a year we get to select what we would like to highlight. We select our own stamps, colours and embellishments. Something I wanted to share with you Blended Backgrounds with Regal Reindeer.
It really is a favourite of mine and so easy to create something quite stunning.
For this one I have used the Shaded Spruce Santas Express Memories & More Card base to start my background on.
The trees are Clear embossed and extras added with masking.
This background is even easier and uses the negative of a die cut circle. Next Blend very softly with your colours. With any colouring it is always best to start light and get darker..
There is something about square cards that I really like and it was perfect for creating these cards.
Embossing the White on White mat with the Snowflake Wintery 3 D embossing folder. Plus there is Vellum to soften.
Watch the video below for tips on Blending and creating these two backgrounds.
