There are so many ways to colour and I love them all
This gorgeous stamp set was one that we could pre-order at our amazing On Line conference last month.
There are just so many ways that you can use this stamp set and so many ways to colour it. I decided to Create with Blessings of Home with Water Colour.
A very clever friend of mine Paula Dobson is a super amazing colourist. We were so blessed that she did a live recently showing and explaining some tips. Though to be fair it was supposed to me more of a loose style water colour! Mine didn’t turn out quite like that but I was very pleased with it.
The Water Colour paper is Fluid 100 which is perfect for this more intense water colouring. The image was stamped with StaZon and left to dry for a short time. I used a few colours including Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight , Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green and Smokey Slate.
A hint when adding colours do not put to many together otherwise you will just get a muddy colour. If you are wanting to add depth wait until it ,dries a little before adding more.
I had so much fun and it really is something that you need to play with to master and this stamp set Blessings of Home with it’s gorgeous images was perfect! !
So watch out for it in the soon to be released Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue!
Video on Inks which includes water colouring.
