We recently were honoured to attend my husband’s niece’s very special wedding day. They were getting married outside in a gorgeous garden so I really wanted the card had to reflect that. I incorporated a few Dies and Stamp sets but was really happy with the result. The gorgeous girl in Stampin’ Ups! Beautiful Moments was perfect. I wanted to also have the groom so have used A Good Man. Cherish Every Moment from Stampin’ Ups! Forever Blossoms was the just right to finish the card and to reflect the right sentiment.

Cherish Every Moment of this Day is the Sentiment on this card. Written in pale blue. The card base and layers are in Shimmery White. the layers have been cut with lacy and patterned edges. On the front is a woman standing in flowers witha white wedding dress on and a man next to her in a black suite. To the left is a shimmery white posy of flowers with other flowers scattered across the front of the card. Most flowers have a pearl in the centre. The ribbon is cream with gold trim and there is a bow at the bottom of the posy.

To give the card a softer look I used Shimmery White Card stock for the layers and card base. Firstly I stamped the Bride image then masked and stamped the groom. The background is lightly blended with the groom and flowers coloured with Stampin’ Blends. For the Brides dress I used the White Stampin’ Chalk Marker.

Looking at stamp sets and dies differently than what they are purposed for is a great way to get more versatility. Which means you can use them for so many different ideas. I just love how combining these different sets created the perfect card for this occasion.
