Creating a Bird House with Birds and Branches, is another card to show you how wonderfully versatile this bundle is. Mum and Dad looking after their nest with their cute speckled eggs. I really wanted to create duck egg blue so I mixed some pool Party and Balmy Blue together. I then water coloured both of these on our Fluid 100 Water colour paper, the texture on this paper was perfect. To finish I flicked some ink from the dark Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends to add the speckles. I was very pleased with how they turned out.
With the Dies there is an edge piece with leaves and I have used this for the filagree effect on the Birdhouse it ‘perfect’. The birds were die cut twice and I used the second colour to highlight the wings. These did not go to waste though as used them for inside the card and the envelope.
