Creating with Best Plaid Builder was certainly my first choice for creating a Father’s Day card for my husband. I love the way you can combine different colours to make a plaid that suits. My husbands favourite colour is Maroon so Merry Merlot and Blackberry Bliss were perfect. Because the Plaid is busy I have kept the card pretty simple. It could easily get too busy, plus men prefer more straight forward cards! Square cards are a favourite of mine and I thought this style really suited the square.

The fathers day stamp is from the Geared Up Garage Stamp Set. Stamping it twice once in Merry Merlot and another in Bumble Bee. I then cut out the word Father’s and adhered to merry Merlot. This really highlights the word Father’s.
