Earthen Textures Birthday - Karen Hadler Stamping Bees

A layered, textured vintage style Birthday Card. The base is pebbled path with a ripped notebook down the left hand side some vellum circles and to the right 1 large gold palm fan and 1 large blue. Happy Birthday is white lettering on black card stock and there is a black double bow beneath — Layers of beautiful colour

I was very honoured to be asked by Stampin’ Through The Catalogue as a guest designer.
For my sample I couldn’t go past the Earthen Elegance Suite, and created this Earthen Textures Birthday Card.
Adding lots of texture and elements with a vintage feel is a favourite style of card for me. The palm fan in these dies can be used in so many different ways.
This colour palette would be perfect for that masculine card.

Each layer was roughed up around the edges and blended with Pebbled Path. This really gives that vintage feel to the card. For the blue palm I blended with Starry Sky, Orchid Oasis and Boho Blue on some White card stock and flicked with water before die cutting.
To finish I have cut and embossed 3 Vellum rings to layer behind the fans.
