This months Global Stampin’ Video Hop is all about Paper so I thought this would be perfect to share some Easy Steps To Paper Piecing such a fun and effective technique!!
Umbrella Days Bundle was just the bundle to highlight this technique and is adorable!! There is even a die cut for the Dog’s Jumper!!!
In the Video I also share how to create the Emboss Resist background.

Paper Piecing is a fantastic way to use up all those tiny pieces of your DSP that you have kept. You can use any and combine as many as you want.
For example my Umbrella and Dogs Jumper is from the Take a Bow Papers, the jacket, boots, flowers and jeans from the Bright & Beautiful Papers and finally the dog is from the Otterly Adorable Papers.
There is a lot of extra pieces in the dies for this bundle, including as I said the dog’s jumper, but also the flowers , clouds and puddles so definitely worth getting the discounted option of the 2.

This second card is still using scraps to create these gorgeous umbrellas with Paper Piecing. Just love this sentiment You are the Umbrella to my Rainy Day so perfect!!
Creating the Umbrellas was a little more fiddly due to to no single Umbrella Stamp & Die but watch this short video on how to achieve this
You are the Umbrella To my Rainy Days

A greeting card with 5 bright umbrellas in blues, reds, greens, oranges and pinks. It is on a white card base with a rainy background. The sentiment is white embossed on black cardstock and reads You are The Umbrella to My rainy days Perfect!!
