What a stunning way to Say thank you with these Sunset Nature Cards
This months Artisan project was Creating with the Grassy Grove Bundle. The Bundle included beautiful stamps and some wonderful dies that immediately inspired me think of a 3D forest look for the card. Because the imagery was so beautiful I decided to Frame the cards as a pair.
I was excited The Grassy Grove Sunset Thank You Card and so happy to present them to you through Artisan.
To achieve the 3D forest I have Die cut 3x twice in Basic Black and once in Evening Evergreen. For one of the black dies cuts I flipped it over to add more dimension to the trees.
Each layer was placed on Dimensionals to add even more depth.
Creating the Sunset for both cards was achieved by Water Colour using Fluid 100 paper. The sun was firstly drawn with a Daffodil Delight Water Colour pencil, the rest of the area was then water coloured and at the very end I have used a Water Painter to go over the sun. The lines from the pencil remain to give that wonderful texture.
Each frame was created with Rose & Gold Metallic Specialty paper and Stitched Rectangle Dies.
