There is a regular Facebook Competition, Colour INKspiration, that I love to enter when I can. There is a list of Colours that you are given and your creation must include these. The colours for this particular month were certainly favourites of mine, Pinks and Greens! Happy Birthday with Painted Poppies Stampin’ Up! was water coloured on Shimmery White. I have also used the words from Peaceful Moments and the Simply Succulent Bundle.
Water Colouring is a fabulous technique and the Water Painters certainly make it easy with the 3 Sizes we have. The large one was perfect for creating the washed Balmy Blue background. I used Stazon to stamp the Poppies once dry and water coloured them also.The Pot and Greenery are from the Simply Succulent Bundle, the pot in this set is gorgeous and so versatile for so many other sets.

For the inside I have stamped some more of the Poppies and water Coloured the. Using the Shimmery White for the card base not only helps to keep consistency but allows you to water colour on the inside.
