How to Create Cards with Texture means a few different things. You can add different layers, colours patterns and shapes. I have used the In Good Taste Suite to highlight a few of these.
The colours are Neutral earthy Colours, with Blues, Golds and Browns. There are different layers and to increase this even further the edges have been roughed up. To achieve this use Scissors or leave clean if it is not a style that appeals. With all the other textures and patterns there will still be plenty.
To Create Cards with Texture I have used Three different Embossing folders. Outlined in Method.
How to Create Cards with Texture and layered cards are one of my favourite styles. The In Good Taste Suite with the DSP, Stamps and Embossing folder are perfect.
Colours Used:
Measurements and method for How to Create with Texture:
- Crumb Cake. 21 cm x 14.8 and 6.8 x 9.8 cm
- Early Espresso 2 @ 10 x 14.3 cm and 7.2 x 10.2 cm
- Misty Moonlight 7 x 3.5 cm and 8 x 4 cm for Sentiment
- DSP. 6.3 x 8.8 cm and 10 x 111.5 cm (Wood Grain) then cut lengthwise into 5 x 2 cm strips
- Whisper White 9.5 x 13.8 cm and scrap for feather.
Method:
- Emboss 1 x 10 x 14.3 cm Early Espresso with With Pine Wood Planks
- Run the 7 x 3.5 cm Misty Moonlight through with the Greenery Embossing Folder
- After White Embossing Sentiment on the other Misty Moonlight Emboss with Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.
- Rough the edges
- Place Woodgrain DSP staggered on top of Early Esspresso
- The ribbon then gets put around these 2 layers
- Layer smaller Early Espresso Crumb Cake and DSP and adhere Misty Moonlight Embossed piece underneath. before placing on dimensionals on front.
- These then get placed on Dimensionals and arranged on card Front.
- Decorate as Desired.
