Welcome to May’s Challenge with Stampin’ Ups! Ice Cream Designer Series paper-You Can Create it. This month in the kit we included amongst card stock 2 pieces of the gorgeous DSP. I do not have the stamp set that co-ordinates with this paper so wanted to show you a couple of alternative ideas.

For this first card I have used the Whale Down Stamp set. To me the colours reminded me of an underwater scene. I cut the DSP across wise then flipped it. This gave me a sea bed perspective. The images are stamped in Blackberry Bliss and then I have used Shimmery Crystal effects on them to give that shimmery shine.
For my second card I have layered the Designer Series paper with the Basic Border dies. A simple but striking effect especially as this particular DSP has a small wavy pattern.
