Just Wanted to Say with Butterfly Brilliance.

Just Wanted to Say is such a fabulous sentiment to have in your stash as it can be the lead in to so many options. Sorry, Happy Birthday, Have a great day and so much more. The Sentiment is from the Many Messages Bundle and I have stamped and die cut a few which I have ready to go. So for this card I have used Just wanted to Say with Butterfly Brilliance.

Butterfly Brilliance Stampin' Up! A beautiful bright square card with a purple base and a black mat. On top of the mat is bright pink/orange tons getting light towards the middle. In the light area is a large Purple and green Butterfly. Behind the butterfly is some gold thread wrapped around. The sentiment is on the bottom right and is white embossed. It says Just wanted to say.

For the Background I have used the Blending Brushes to create a focal point for the Butterfly. Using Designer Series Paper that was part of this suite. ( So sorry this is no longer available) But any Papers would be suitable for this technique, just find something with colours you like. Then select the colours in the paper, for me I started with Magenta Madness. Followed by Calypso Coral and to finish I used Merry Merlot around the edges to darken. I really do love how this technique and how it creates a real pop of colour.

The Butterfly is stamped and coloured with Stampin’ Blends another favourite of mine. For these colours I selected Highland Heather and Bermuda Bay. The Sentiment is white embossed

This technique certainly adds colour and a fabulous focal point to any card. The Butterfly Brilliance Bundle also makes it easy to give it that extra WOW factor.
