Moving Along with Warm Hugs couldn’t better a better combination for me. My wonderful news is that this week my second Grandchild was born. A little boy Reuben absolutely perfect. He was a little early so has been getting some help to breath in a Special Unit but is getting stronger every day.
The Moving Along Stamp set is perfect for a Welcome Baby card and with Trains, Cars and Helicopters perfect for a boy. Though I should not be gender bias and if in pink would also be great for a girl ! I have also combined The Moving Along Stamp with the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder, Warm Hug Dies and the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. I have kept the colours to three which makes the card soft.
Method for Moving Along With Warm Hugs.
I Punched the rectangles a little smaller but because the edges are serrated you don’t notice it so was perfect. For his name I have used for the first time the Playful Alphabet Dies. These are fantastic, Stampin’ Up! have outlined each letter for you on the card they come on. This means you know when one is missing! So Clever. There are also double ups with popular letters. Prior to cutting I glued the card stock onto the Foam adhesive Sheet and this makes it SO easy to create your fussy 3D images.
For the frill I have used the scalloped Die from the Warm Hugs Dies, cutting it out a couple of times. This was then adhered to the back of the whisper white card stock. Welcome baby is White embossed then put on Dimensionals. His name Reuben and the vehicles are also on Dimensionals, and the rest is adhered direct.
The Embellishments are the Pear Basic Jewels and I have used the Seaside Spray dark Blend to colour. To finish I have tied a bow with the Metallic Seaside Spray Ribbon.
I really do love how this has turned out and is special for my special Grandson.
