It is always hard having to make a sympathy card for someone, because of the circumstances. Recently a very dear friend of mine lost her father and I wanted to make something special for her and after a few attempts, I decided on this card, simple but warm. To make this card I used the 'smooshing' technique for the leaves which was fun and the Colorful Seasons stamp and Seasonal Layers Thin lit Dies set. An oldie but a goodie is the Eclipse technique. There are so many options with this style, making cards personal using the recipient's name or Generic. With the Daisy Delight stamp set I created the scene before Die cutting with the Large Letter Framelits, then by cutting out further letters using scraps you can build the letters up to make them stand out on the card, very easy but effective.       If you would like to know more please contact me to learn how ... I think a lovely bottle of wine is a wonderful gift and this bottle tag just adds that little extra to the bottle to make it special. I have used Fresh Fig card for the tag as resembles a lovely claret, with Very Vanilla and a touch of Old Olive.   The Designer Series Paper Merry Music sheets were perfect in conjunction with the Musical Season stamp set and Dies           If you would like to know any more about this Christmas tag ...
