Partial Masking with Honeybee Home

Create a fun background in a couple of quick easy steps.

I fell in love with the Heart & Home Suite and especially the Honeybee Home Bundle, as soon as I saw it.
There are so many beautiful elements to this suite which just co-ordinate beautifully together.
Today I would love to share with you Partial Masking with Honeybee Home.
An easy technique that makes your project pop.

For this card I have used Coastal Cabana/Bermuda Bay and kept the card standard size. I think I prefer Square what do you think?
The Bees are stamped with StaZon then coloured with a Stampin’ Write. This is because StaZon is alcohol based, so if I used Blends it would be a hot mess!

Loving this card with a Crumb Cake and White being the colour options.

For this option I have used a Crumb Cake base and the Craft Stampin’ Ink.
The die cut flowers are from the absolutely stunning Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper. The shimmer and details are a bit hard to see in a photo. But are amazing.I have left the die cut flowers white but for the Coastal Cabana option I have lightly coloured with blends.

To create the circle mask for these cards and the partial masking I have used the Layering Circle Dies and the Butterflies and Flowers Layering Masks. The biggest tip for this technique and any masking that you do is the prep. Always ensure everything is adhered in place before starting.
