Simple Stamping-Global Stampin’ Video Hop

Simple stamping has a fresh clean look and is fantastic for people starting out on their stamping journey.

This months theme is Simple Stamping-Global Stampin’ Video Hop

Simple Stamping is truly just that simple. All you need is stamps ink and paper. A fantastic way for someone to give stamping a go with very little equipment is required.

Simple Stamping cards are fresh, fun and can still be full of colour and interest.


For my samples I am using the Cactus Cuties Bundle. For the first card I have only used the stamps. The next level up however is Casual, this is when you can bring some other straight forward elements in. Included in this bundle is a punch. Punches are great for quick and easy cutting out of elements, which I have done with the pot and Cactus giving a more 3D appearance. Also the background has been blended a little. To finish I have added some Linen Thread and In Colour Jewels. Just a step up from the Simple Style.

For my last example to share the comparisons with you is an Avid Crafters Card. This involves more layers and techniques which can of course include more equipment such as the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machines.
Creating the sentiment for this card I have white embossed and there is also some fussy cutting involved.

Any of the 3 cards are beautiful and can be easily achieved, it all comes down often to preference off style.
