Snowflake Splendor In the Pines is created using the Colours I adore for Christmas. The Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper is stunning with Purple and Blue hues. I have used these gorgeous colours in the DSP as my starting point for my card. This is always a great place to start if you are not sure of your colour scheme.
The In the Pines Stamp is part of the Pines Bundle. This includes the Pine Wood Dies which are fabulous to create many different looks on your projects. For this project though I have focused on the stamps. 14 Photopolymer distinctive stamps which also includes 2 step stamping.

Method For Snowflake Splendor In the Pines:
For this card I have gone for a square design, which I tend to use inches for.
Thick Whisper White 10 x 5 inches
Highland Heather 4.7/8 x 4 7/8 inches
DSP 4 6/8 x 4 6/8 inches
Night Of Navy 4 1/8 x 4 1/8 inches
Whisper White 4 x 4 inches
I die cut a 3 Inch circle placed this on my Whisper White card stock and sponged with Balmy Blue around the outside edges. I have also used the stamps from Ornamental Envelopes to create the edging in Misty Moonlight. The Highland Heather Snowflake is from the Festive Post Stamp set.
I have removed the die cut circle and sponged the inside with Pool Party blending this with the Balmy Blue. Using some ripped card stock I have also sponged some ridges into the bottom of the circle to stamp the trees. The trees are stamped with Night of Navy and with the two step stamping in filled with Misty Moonlight. To finish I have used Water Colour Pencils to add some texture to the snow and lightly blended with a Water Pen.
