We all have our essential tools that we immediately grab or use everyday and I thought I would share with you The Three Tools I can’t Live Without. These are in no particular order as they are all top 3 for me!
#1 Take Your Pick
If you have watched any of my lives you will see that I have nails! Not my own of course but I love them. They may look fabulous but are not good for many things. Like Peeling the backing from double sided tape, or picking up jewels and so much more. It is also very handy to fix mistakes, using the Spatula to lift adhered card stock happens frequently! The Take Your Pick Tool would get used every time I create and is always beside me on the desk. Did you know the putty end is fantastic for picking up those stray bits of Embossing Powder you get when Embossing?
#2 Blending Brushes.
Creating my own backgrounds, adding colour, blending the edges of card stock are some of the favourite things I like to do with my blending brushes. And I have a few! My Blending Brushes get used a lot.
Blend ink beautifully you can apply extremely light shades of ink or create soft gradient backgrounds with no lines. Or use them with Decorative Masks or stencils, They have the most gorgeous velvety soft bristles and blend ink perfectly. I have monthly Online classes and when someone joins I always send a Brush as a welcome gift. This is to welcome them but also because I use them a lot in my card making.
