Using Layers to Create Comfort and Hope is a card I am sharing with you today. The images themselves are simple but the interest is in the different layers, textures, varying sizes and patterns. I have also added additional interest and texture by using scissors to roughen the edges. The DSP from the stunning In Good Taste was perfect for the background keeping with the style.
This stamp set Comfort and Hope has some beautiful images that create the instant look of texture. And I love Texture! Stamping off with Gray Granite I have used one of the images on the Gray Granite Strip. Because I wanted to have a lot of texture I kept the colour palette soft except for the pop of Just Jade.
Colours Used:
Creating cards in a monochromic style is also a fabulous technique you can either keep it to all one colour or have one additional as in this card for a pop. Another Card on my blog I have just used shades of green to give. you some ideas Forever Greenery.
