A quick easy and fun way to create a unique and beautiful background
This card has been created using 3 of the fabulous new In – Colours. Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide. They really combine well together to give that bright water colour look almost like a sunset.
The card base is the new Tahitian Tide and the gorgeous polka dot mat is a sneak peek at some of the super cute Tea Boutique DSP.
The Watercolour Block Stamping Technique is easy and fun and you get a beautiful unique result every time.
You can use any colour combination you like and I have kept this one to purply blue hues. Starry Night, Orchid Oasis and Tahitian Tide.
Most important point would be that when you place the weight on top of the block it really only needs to stay for five minutes. This helps the colour soak into the Shimmery White Paper. Too long and you get over saturated blotches, which you will see in the video.
for this card base I have also used the Shimmery White card stock.
