When you need a Special Belated Birthday Card.

I always try and get my Birthday cards out on time, but sometimes sadly it doesn’t happen. So when I need a Belated Birthday Card I really want it to be Special.

For this card I have used the absolutely stunning Flowers for Every Season Designer series paper (DSP). I have used these papers so much for many different occasions. They certainly are a go to for me.

A special Belated Birthday Card using Flowers For every Season

The card base I have used is Misty Moonlight and also the mat, keeping it one colour. After embossing the mat I have sponged the top lightly with Whisper White to really enhance the pattern. This is a fabulous technique to do with either a lighter colour as in this case or even the same colour as the Card stock. Simple but effective.

For the Flower and sprigs I have used Punches which is such a quick and easy way to create a focal point.

Misty Moonlight 21 x 14.8 cm and 10 x 14.3 cm
DSP 10 x 14.3cm when Cut enough for 2 cards
Blushing Bride. 8 x 10 cm
Whisper White 10 x 14.3 cm for inside and scrap for sentiment.
