July is World Watercolour month so I am going to share a weekly ideas and tip series.
I think it must be my inner child but I love anything colouring and creating my own backgrounds.
Watercolouring is so much fun and I would love to share with you some tips and ideas in #1 in a Watercolour Series Introduction.
The most important item to have when watercolouring is the right Paper. We have 2 options Fluid 100 Paper which is a thick paper designed especially for watercolouring. This Paper allows for wonderful movement of colour and water.
There is also Shimmery White A4 Cardstock which is also great for watercolouring allows movement of water and Ink but not quite as much as the Fluid 100. It does however give a beautiful sparkly background.
For this week in my video I talk about some basics and I share with you how to create this water coloured background and colouring the Hippos.
The Hippest Hippos are Free with qualifying Purchase in our Sale-A-Bration Catalogue.
I love this time of year when we can give things away it is so exciting and these guys are super cute!!
