Celebrate with Flowers and Watercolour Shapes

These are the two stamp sets that I have used to highlight the recent Colour INKspiration Challenge. Celebrate with Flowers and Watercolour Shapes. The Watercolour Shapes are perfect for creating stunning backgrounds, but have no sentiments or images. The combination of the two worked really well together and I love the different orientation of Happy Birthday.

Celebrate with Flowers with Water Colour Shapes Stamp sets. The background is stamped in Balmy blue with a vertical rectangle. The flower stem is stamped in green running up the middle. The Happy Birthday is also vertical and co-ordinates in green. The flowers are in Fresh Freesia with 3 cut out and on dimensionals. There is a white card base and mats given texture by the edges being roughed up and the top stamped layer being run the with the tasteful texture embossing folder.

The colours for this INKspiration Challenge were gorgeous and really worked well together. I wanted to create something soft and pretty for this card. The inspiration Photo was a beautiful Sunset over the ocean.

Colour INKspitaion Colours

I have kept my Card white on White and added interest and texture in different ways. By using my snips I have roughed the edges of the layering white card. Plus I have used the Tasteful Textile Embossing folder after I had finished stamping. The Celebrate with flowers does not come with dies but I have fussy cut some of the images to give more interest. I do not mind fussy cutting though I know some do 🙂

Celebrate with Flowers with Water Colour Shapes Stamp sets. The card is on a Pale Papaya Base with 3 rectangles stamped in Pale Papaya on the front. There is a sheer ribbon in the same colour going accross the card 3 times. In the middle of the card is a white strip with alternating blocks of colour running down it. The sentiment stamped in green at the top says May your Day be Filled with Sunshine. at the bottom is some leaves and 3 flowers that have been fussy cut out.
Using the same Colours in a Different way.

This card is using the same stamp sets and the Same colours. This highlights just by changing things up a little how you can change the look dramatically. This card is on a Pale Papaya card base and I have used the Ribbon as a background highlight. The Sentiment May Your Day Be Filled with Sunshine was perfect for this bright Happy Card.
