Amazing Vellum Ideas

The Global Stampin’ Video Hop this month is all about Vellum Techniques

A greeting card on a Pecan Pie card Base. Ontop of this is a mat in a similar colour with musical notes on it. On top of this and smaller is a white card mat with a green coloured and embossed piece of vellum. The patter is leaves. On top of this is a large pink layered Christmas tree with silver and pink decorations. The sentiment is to You and Yours in the form of a gift tag and has a Silver Trim bow.

Vellum is such wonderful style of paper to work with. There is just so much you can do with it! To highlight Amazing Vellum Ideas for the Global Stampin’ Video Hop I have used the Merriest Trees Bundle. Of course I had to make the tree pink.
In my video I share with you colouring with Alcohol Blends and Embossing Vellum, there are also samples at the end of the video with more ideas.

This is a close up of the Vellum where you can see clearer the colouring, and the embossing effect. When you emboss Vellum it breaks down the fibres and leaves you with a white pattern which is fabulous!! The embossing folder can be found in the Online Exclusives and is called Leaf Fall.
The Tree has been created by blending Berry Burst and Bubble Bath onto card stock then flicking water on it before die cutting.
