Rustic Crate Artisan Projects

The Rustic Crate Bundle was so fun to work with.

A card on a Crumb Cake Base. There are many textured layers in the middle is a wooden crate that is full of leaves and flowers in soft pink and green pastels. In front of this crate is a pair of blue gloves and a Line thread Bow. The sentiment is on a tag attached to the box and reads For You.
Lots of layers and texture

For this card from my Rustic Crate Artisan Projects I have added lots of texture and layers.
This is one of my favourite styles of card I would have to say.
Each layer I have roughed up the edges with snips to add even more texture.
For the foliage I have blended the colours onto some Basic White cardstock, then White embossed before die cutting out.
Isn’t the crate fabulous!! it is with the dies and cuts out a mini crate and even has a handle!!
Plus there are mini gloves …soooo cute.

Water colouring was the technique used for this card, the background and the plants. This card is simpler than the first card with less layers but still very effective.
The bundle lends itself to Autumn colours and I really wanted to share with you how versatile it is by using different colours to make it for all seasons.

A card on a White base. On the front is a water coloured background of earthy colours at the bottom and blue sky at the top. On top of this is white embossed water coloured plants. These are a teal green in colour with brown roots. The sentiment is also white embossed and reads Blessed Beyond Measure.
