Each year during our Artisan Time we get to share 3 Creative Projects with you

A picture of 3 Greeting cards that are reflective of the Ocean. There are sea Birds, Shells and Water coloured Ocean and Beach backgrounds. One card is a Thank you card, the other Heartfelt Sympathy and the last reads You are a pearl rare and prcious.
Three summery Beach cards with By the Bay

For my first Creative Artisan project I wanted to share this gorgeous suite with you. There is so much in this suite it is just stunning.
Plus while creating these cards it was a hazy summers day and I really wanted to reflect that in these cards.
The colours are beachy with Pool Party, Sahara Sand and Petal Pink.
So I hope you enjoy By the Bay January Artisan Project.

For this card I have water coloured the background on Fluid 100 Water Colour paper. To add the effect of waves once dry I used the Whisper White Craft ink to give it that ocean feel. The large bird is Die cut from the DSP. I love it when Suites have dies that match images on the Designer Series Paper

Love how running the white Ink over the Embossing Powder really makes it pop

Using the Seashells 3D embossing Folder and after embossing, I very lightly ran the Craft Ink pad over the top. This is so effective and really makes those embossed images pop even more.
Heartfelt Sympathy is stamped directly onto the DSP which is perfect for the background.

My favourite shaped card would be square so of course I had to create one for this set. You are a Pearl Rare and precious was the perfect sentiment for this card. Seashells are part of the dies and I have Die cut a few and then using the Mini Blending Brushes added Petal Pink. This was perfect for the background.
