This card includes masking and blending techniques.
This stamp set evokes such wonderful memories. The hill in the background is Rangitoto Island and I spent my youth on a beach that had that exact background.
Creating images of mothers and daughters, friends and sisters I just love this set.
Collecting Beautiful Moments by the Seaside.
To achieve the background the technique is all about masking. Start with stamping the image of the girls where you would like them to be. Also stamp on some stickie post it note of similar. Cut out the image and be sure to cut on or just inside the lines. This will prevent the halo effect.
Next blend the background and stamp once you have finished this peel off the stickie and colour the girls. For more step by step instructions I have created a video for you to share the tips and techniques.

The inside is simply stamped with gorgeous Lavender flowers in keeping with the colour scheme of the card. This would also be a great image for the envelope to co-ordinate it all together.
