This Months Stampin’ Fancy Friday Challenge is Otterly Amazing
Creating a Card from a Sketch is just a fantastic way to start your creative experience. Sketches are an inspirational starting point and this sketch is no exception.
I couldn’t go past the new Otterly Adorable Suite Collection. This suite collection has otters, otters everywhere: playful otters on stamps, otter-shaped dies, otters frolicking on patterned paper, plus fun embellishments. . Not only are Otters super cute they are also so resilient, I am a volunteer at the zoo and I have learnt so much about these amazing animals!
For the background I have used different pieces of the Otterly Adorable Patterned papers to create a scene. The Otters are the centre focus with the sentiment. This arrangement with the papers really gives an underwater type scene which is perfect for this card.
Using a circle from Spotlight on Nature I blended the background and stamped the bubbles in Balmy Blue. Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends were used to colour the Otters.
To see how I coloured them I have a video below of a fun fold card using this same Suite.
