Loving the images in this set and how perfect they are for creating a reflective moment.
This is the second card from this stamp set that I have added ink to water. The images are so reflective and thoughtful and I feel they lend them selves to this medium.
For In the Moment Water Colour and adding the focal point I have used the technique that I have previously shared with you (link below) Reverse Masking. Such a simple way to draw the eye to the girl in the window.
Starting with Water Colouring around the out side of the circle I added Cinnamon Cider, So Saffron, Blushing Bride and Balmy Blue blending the colours together softly.
These colours I selected were to elude to sunrise and the start of a beautiful day.
Once the water colour had dried I then inked the image with Saddle brown Stazon Ink. Which is perfect for Water colouring as it is alcohol based.
Creating depth of colour and shading in the image is done by adding a layer and then waiting between each for it to dry. You could use your Heat Tool on the low setting if you didn’t want to wait too long.
The Card base and Water colouring Mat is Shimmery White Card Stock. This card is perfect for both and makes it ideal to create a complete card, plus I love the added shimmer!!
This gorgeous stamp is available in the Mini Catalogue only until June. But the best part is if you add it to your list now , before the end of February you are well on the way to receiving a Free Gift from the Sale-a-Bration Catalogue!
