I saw this idea of a pop and twist card on Pinterest and was really keen to give a go. It actually was quite easy and so effective, I also used the eclipse technique for the very special number 60! and colored in the flower from the Birthday Blooms stamp set with new Blenders. Colorful Seasons
It is always hard having to make a sympathy card for someone, because of the circumstances. Recently a very dear friend of mine lost her father and I wanted to make something special for her and after a few attempts, I decided on this card, simple but warm. To make this card I used the 'smooshing' technique for the leaves which was fun and the Colorful Seasons stamp and Seasonal Layers Thin lit Dies set. Daisy Eclipse
An oldie but a goodie is the Eclipse technique. There are so many options with this style, making cards personal using the recipient's name or Generic. With the Daisy Delight stamp set I created the scene before Die cutting with the Large Letter Framelits, then by cutting out further letters using scraps you can build the letters up to make them stand out on the card, very easy but effective.
