This month’s Global Stampin’ Video Hop
It was exciting to start the New Year with such a fabulous theme of Love!!
Plus of course Valentines Day is just around the corner.
This card Sending Love and Big Hugs was created using scrap Basic White strips. There is a basket that I put all my left over pieces that I often use for sentiments but the pile grows quicker than that 🙂
So I thought why not create this card with this fabulous tecnhique and share it with you.
Gold is so Elegant
The technique is very effective but simple to do.
Firstly place an adhesive sheet over the whole front of the card. Place your white strips randomly diagonally once you have completed add some Gilded Leafing in between!
You can use any strips that you may have left over. Patterned paper or coloured Card stock for different looks.
As this photo shows you are not limited to Basic White Cardstock, any left over Designer Series Papers or coloured cardstock is perfect. The second card here is using the stunning Stippled Rose Bundle.
