3 Fabulous Techniques with Wild Ferns

Highlighting the Brayer, Josephs Technicolour Coat and Stamping with Blending

A greeting card on a Black Base on top of this is another Black mat with White ferns. On top ogf this is a stamped and texture white and Coastal Cabana mat. A ribbon and a bow to the left is wrapped around this. On top of these layers are 3 equal sized rectangles. The 1 on the left has a black background and a green fern. The middle one is white and stamped with the sentiment Wishing you well today tomorrow and every day that follows. The one on the right is black with a green frond on it. under both black rectangles are some green leaves.

The fern is so iconic with New Zealand and I was excited to see it in the catalogue.
For this post and my video I would love to share with you 3 Fabulous Techniques with Wild Ferns Bundle.
For this card I have used the Brayer with Whisper White Craft Ink and the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. The background is also using the Brayer to add texture with stamping as well.
Finally the Black Panels are created using the Joseph’s Technicolour Coat Technique.

A thank you card on a white base. Then there is a green mat with a white mat on top of this that has ferns embossed on it.. Another smaller green mat then a white mat that has Fronds and texture stamps with blending around the edges , all in Garden Green. In the middle is a Thank you stamped in black on a small rectangle. Surrounding this is some small green die cut foliage pieces. A black and white gingham bow on the right and 3 Silver sequins on the card.

Silver Ferns in the Bush

For my second card I have used 2 stamps the texture stamp and the Frond before blending all using Garden Green.
This creates a beautiful bush like background.
There are two Ferns which have been Silver Embossed which is a symbol of our mighty sports teams.
