Create your own gorgeous backgrounds with this simple but a little messy technique.
Creating your own background is so much fun and with this technique you achieve something beautiful and different every time! There is a couple of ways to do this technique one has more control over where the colour goes than the other so I would love to share with you the Smooshing Technique Two Ways.
For this card I have used the Smooshing Technique where you do not have as much control over where the colours go. The ink is placed on a block with the re-inkers, spritzed then the card placed on top. It certainly creates a smooth beautiful look. This one I thought looked like a gorgeous sunset so I punched out the Dragonflies in black from the Dragonfly Garden Bundle.
Smooshing Technique Two is where you dab some Ink from your Ink pad onto a Window sheet. Spritzing and adding 1 colour at a time.
This certainly gives you more control over where the colour goes and you can create some stunning texture.
To complete this card I used the Artfully Layered Bundle.
In the Video I share with you both Smooshing Techniques.
I hope you enjoyed the video and give these techniques a try, if you need anything to to create this at home please contact me or click on this link for all supplies used.
