Tip on adding 2 colours to your stamp

Plus creating the perfect water coloured background.!

A greeting card on a white card base. The first mat is Fresh Freesia, then on top of this is a white mat that has been embossed with a swirly pattern. On top of this to the left is a stripy piece of petunia pop Patterned paper only an inch wide running vertically. On top of this also an inch wide is a piece of Peach pie patterned paper with small white circles. this one is a little shorter. On top of this in the middle is a circle that has been water coloured in blues, pinks, peach, yellow and purple. On this black embossed is the sentiment it reads wishing you the happiest birthday. To the right of the circle is 3 small peach coloured flowers, and 1 of the same top left of the circle. There are 3 dragonflies one at the bottom of the circle, one in the middle right and on top right, all fresh freesia and yellow all flying in different directions.

Just love how this card turned out. There are more than 1 technique included in this card the water coloured background circle is one of them and the black embossing, but I love the Tip on adding 2 colours to your stamp. There are other ways to do this, you could use a dauber. But for this small stamp this technique is perfect and I think the dragonflies look gorgeous. You do need to start with the lighter colour first then add the darker colour.

This is a greeting card on a white bas. The first mat is boho blue then a white mat with coloured paper that is colours of blue and fresh freesia. The paper is cut into what looks like planks with smaller pieces at the top and getting bigger there are 5 pieces. There is a tag on top with a second tag underneath which is pink and glittery. The tag reads you make me feel like glitter in the sun. There is a sun above the words ion the right. There are also 3 medium sized dragonflies with wings yellow at the top the soft purple at the bottom,they are placed one at the bottom and two the right if the tag. At the top of the tag is a bow tied with a sheer ribbon with silver edging. There is also 3 silver glittery gems.

This gorgeous card is perfect for a girls birthday party and my granddaughter already has her name on it for her next party. The beautiful designer series paper is from the Thoughtful Journey it is the reverse side and is absolutely stunning. Starting small and getting larger I cut the paper and used scissors to rough the edges. These dragonflies are stamped also with using the Lemon Lolly First on top of the stamp and Fresh Freesia on the bottom.

A Greeting card on a white card base the mat is melon Mambo and some patterned paper on top of this with tiny pink flowers. On the top of this is a white tag stamped with the words Wishing you the happiest Birthday. Above the words on the right is a small rainbow. at the bottom is a dragonfly that is stamped with lemon lolly on the top and fresh freesia on the bottom. There is a pink and silver bow at the top and 3 pink gems.

This is a simpler card with less layers. The tag has been stamped with the dragonfly but there is a cute rainbow as well. The paper is not available to buy sorry but I was awarded this as an incentive with Stampin’ Up and recived a full park of this 12 x 12 paper in pinks!! Was very happy.
