Love this technique with Vellum so wanted to try it with a Window Sheets & Wow!!
This is a technique I have always loved with Vellum, creating a soft coloured background. So I wanted to give Alcohol, Blends & Window Sheet Technique at try and absolutely LOVED the result! It took a couple of practises to get it how I liked it, but in the end the swirly, softness was just lovely. Shy Shamrock, Summer Splash and Flirty Flamingo, Dark Stampin’ Blends are what I used on both cards.
Basic White was perfect for the card base and mat, before embossing with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder I die cut the circle using largest Circle Die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. It is always better to Die Cut before embossing as you can flatten any pattern you may have.
After stamping the Teapot and Flowers in Memento from the Country Flowers Stamp set I have used various blends to colour (see the supply list below). Then die cut with the co-ordinating Country Flowers Dies.
Watch the video below for more detail.
This is the sister card to the card I create in the video below and I have used the Teacup from the Everyday Details Stamp set, perfect for the matching set!
The colours that I used on the Window Sheet were exactly the same but as you can see the Shy Shamrock is more predominant. You will get a beautiful but different result every time.
I kept the flower and leaf colours the same and actually covered the flower that comes on the Teacup Stamp.
