Whale of a Time Shaker Card is created using this stunning suite. I just love everything about this beautiful suite it is so amazing. The DSP (Designer Series Paper) is full of colour and gorgeous sea life. So beautiful that it makes it super easy to create projects. For someone that loves the ocean this suite was certainly a must.
For this card I wanted to give the illusion of a port hole with fish swimming. I have used two different sheets of DSP with the imagery of the seabed for the inside. The Sequins include Seashells and round sequins that were perfect for a Shaker card.
The Suite also includes a Whale Punch. This punch will punch out not only your stamped image. But also the images on the DSP perfect! I have not used it on this occasion but I have on some previous posts using the Whale of a Time.
Creating Projects with the Whale of a Time Suite

Colours Used:
Measurements for Whale of a Time Shaker Card:
Night of Navy 10 x 5 inches
Bumble Bee 4 7/8 x 4 7/8 inches
DSP 7 5/8 x 7 5/8 inches , inside circle piece 3.5 x 3.5 inches. Scrap for Sentiments, Inside of. card 1 x 4.5 inches.
I have used the 2 1/8 circle die to cut out a circle from the DSP. Using this die also with a larger layering die to cut out Bumble Bee rim. Adhere the Foam Adhesive strips around the inside edge. Ensure there are no gaps. Pop a few Sequins inside before then placing the smaller DSP on Top to seal.
I have then adhered this to the Bumble Bee Mat. The sentiment is stamped on some DSP and fussy cut.
Finish card as desired.
