I had a fabulous weekend trying out a few new things and this is the floating card technique using the Press N Seal and actually makes two cards. I had also seen in the Catalogue a picture of the Leaf Ribbon (146905) being embossed to give a totally new look so wanted to also try that and was very pleased how it turned out ! I recently received the Pressed Petal Journal which is filled with delightful pages...each page has a quote, flowers or script and is wonderful. Of course I had to cover it and once covered I thought now I need a matching bookmark/tag to go with it :-) The tag is quick and simple to make and I start with a piece of Crumb cake card stock 5 x 11 cm. Last August I was blessed with a beautiful Granddaughter and of course we take many many photos! I often see some of the beautiful layouts created by others and thought what a fabulous thing to do to make the most of them! Hello everyone welcome. I would like to share with you another card from the beautiful Perennial Essence Suite and a tutorial on You Tube! I have focused my last 3 cards on showcasing this stunning paper and with this card and tutorial I have shown you how you can create a gorgeous frame to highlight the same. To continue with my theme this week which is the stunning Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper.... I have combined it on this card with the reverse side of one of the papers, which is just as gorgeous and versatile. I wanted to make a focal point across the centre of the card combined with the ribbon which I was happy with, there are just so many options available with this paper ! What can I say this paper is stand alone!! Hand-painted impressionistic imagery in rich colours it is so stunning that you really do not need to do anything else but put it on the card! It comes with 12 sheets 2 each of 6 double sided designs.
