Happy Holly-Days Colouring Tip

Just using one colour to make the bird pop and adjusting your die cutting to get the size you want.

Happy Holly-Day Card with Crumb Cake base and Mint macaroon matting. The mint macaroon mat has been embossed with music notes. On to with a Lacey edge is a crumb cake mat and this has the bird white embossed on the front. This bird has then been coloured in only white. The background has soft Holly Leaves. At the top white embossed on Mint macaroon is Christmas Blessings. There are strips of Mint macaroon DSP and ribbon going right to left along the bottom and the sentiment on top is to you and yours. Stamped with Mint Macaroon on White card Stock.
Gorgeous Bird in White from Happy Holly-Days

This stamp set has the most gorgeous Bird as it’s focal point, but also has some wonderful sentiments. I have certainly made the most of the bird image.
At our recent Onstage at Home event for demonstrators (which was amazing!!) we were shown an alternative colouring idea. So I would love to share that with you.
Happy Holly-Days Colouring Tip

Using White Embossing Powder I first embossed the Bird, then coloured with the White Water Colour pencil! That is all that is required to make this bird pop!! So easy., so if you don’t like colouring this is for you!
You can choose what ever card colour but I have selected Crumb Cake. I wanted the card to have a vintage feel.
The DSP strips are from my favourite Whimsy and Wonder. the ribbon on top is Mint Macaroon Soft Velvet Ribbon, so lovely!


A closer look at the layers of Happy Holly-Day Card with Crumb Cake base and Mint macaroon matting. The mint macaroon mat has been embossed with music notes. The crumb Cake and Mint Macaroon are perfect together.

Keeping it subtle the Holly is stamped with Versamark in the background. This gives a perfect colour on colour look.
The Mint Macaroon mat has been embossed with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder.
