Pop-Up Window Cards

Made easy with Kit alternatives.

Kits are fabulous and there are so many stunning options available. What I love to do is to share alternatives with you using the kits to create amazing options for you. For these Pop-Up Window Cards I have used the By Your Side Kit and the Garden of Thanks Kit.
The Pop-Up Window fun fold has been inspired by Jennifer McGuire who’s work I absolutely love, she is amazing!
Keeping the cards simple with the Pop-Up Window as the focus makes the surprise even better when the card is opened. You can choose to have the sentiment inside or on the front.

For the inside mechanism for the Pop-Up cut a piece of card stock at 5 1/4″ x 3 inches and on the long side score at 3/4″, 1 1/2″ & 4 1/2″, this can be altered though if need to be smaller. You also need a piece of card stock and decorate and stamp etc, the 2nd largest Deckled Rectangle Die was the perfect size.
This is just adhered to the top of the mechanism after cutting. Before decorating this piece though it works well to lightly outline with pencil, either your square of circle , though the hole so you know exactly where to place the image you want seen from the front.

A beautiful posy of flowers from the Garden of Thanks Kit awaits the recipient when they open the card.

More Window-Pop Inspiration with By Your Side Kit.

This is the same concept with the Window Pop Up Card but this Time I have used the By Your Side Kit. This Kit is packed full of cute cats and dogs for animal lovers.
Instead of the sentiments that come with the set I wanted a birthday card for someone so I used Happy Birthday from the Something Fancy Stamp set. So you do not need to just use the stamps from the kit, make the card for what suits your purposes best.
