Creating with Best Plaid Builder
Creating with Best Plaid Builder was certainly my first choice for creating a Father's Day card for my husband. I love the way you can combine different colours to make a plaid that suits. My husbands favourite colour is Maroon so Merry Merlot and Blackberry Bliss were perfect. Because the Plaid is busy I have kept the card pretty simple. Winter Woods with Shadow Embossing.
Winter Woods with Shadow Embossing was this weeks facebook live. This is a fabulous technique to give a 3D look to your project. I choice the Winter Woods stamp set as these trees were perfect. Do not apply to much water though as your image will spread to much. Standard Whisper White stock is ok but Thick is preferable. My stamp is ... VIEW POST
Creating with Multiple Embossing Powders.
Creating with Multiple Embossing Powders is a fun and easy technique. I recently shared this on my facebook live and now uploaded it to You Tube in case you missed it. I showcased another card on my blog with this technique. It was very popular and was asked by a few people how to do it so hence the Live. I have chosen a different colour palette for this card to show how versatile it is. This card is featuring reds and blacks but my other sample is in softer blues. you can check it out ... VIEW POST
