My Entry as Guest Designer for The 103rd Colour INKspiration Challenge.

Timeless tropical Memorable Birthday. This is on a Soft succulent card base with an evening evergreen mat. There is shimmery white top may with a large yellow pineapple with a green top. These are water coloured and specked with gold. Then die cut out. The words in the bottom let hand corner read May Your Birthday be memorable.

I was blessed to be the guest designer for this 103rd Challenge. I love entering this competition and using colour combinations that I often would not have considered. On this Occassion I chose Timeless Tropical Memorable Birthday as my entry. I have used the colours by water colouring some Shimmery white. Then using the glad wrap with gold embossing powder technique. This adds specks of gold through out.

These are the colours that were selected and the inspiration for my tropical card. Being that it is winter here it was certainly wonderful to be thinking about warmer days. The colours combine beautifully. Pale Papya, Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent are three of our beautiful new in-colours.

The Glad wrap technique is so effective for adding some texture. It is simple to do and achieved by scrunching up some glad wrap. This is then dipped in to the Versamark before lightly tapping on the card. The most important thing to remember is not to press down hard. This would then create a blob rather than specks. Add the Gold Embossing Powder the use the Heat Tool.
