It is always hard having to make a sympathy card as it is coupled with sadness. Unfortunately I have had to make a few recently but found this soft card using the absolutely stunning Country Floral Dynamic Textured Embossing folder perfect! I really enjoyed having a play with a few of the wonderful options in the Occasions Catalogue and the Sale-A-Bration Catalogues! The card base I is Powder Pink and I used the Dot to Dot Textured Impressions Embossing folder for the background. I selected the DSP from The Floral Romance Specialty Paper, The All My Love Paper , Dies from the Well Said Suite and the Butterfly Elements to Create the design. Recently I watched this Swipe Technique that Linda Dalke posted and had to go straight to my craft room to give it a go :-) I was inspired with a card lay out from Jacque Williams and am really pleased how this turned out :-) Before stamping the stamp is swiped across the inkpad and this gives you the different depths of colours and I love the effect. I used Fresh Fig for the card base and a strip of the stunning Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper and the ink was Blackberry ...
