Recently I watched this Swipe Technique that Linda Dalke posted and had to go straight to my craft room to give it a go :-) I was inspired with a card lay out from Jacque Williams and am really pleased how this turned out :-) Before stamping the stamp is swiped across the inkpad and this gives you the different depths of colours and I love the effect. I used Fresh Fig for the card base and a strip of the stunning Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper and the ink was Blackberry ... Happy New Year I hope 2019 is absolutely amazing for everyone! It was recently my Dads 85th Birthday so wanted to make him a special card, he does not like fuss or anything too busy so tried to make a simpler card :-) I was actually very pleased how it had turned out.
